As of 11.50pm, 12/1, the shelter has been fully evacuated, the call centre is VERY BUSY, so please only email floods@rspcaqld.org.au with offers of help, and leave the phone lines free for animal emergencies. There are currently enough foster parents for the animals but the number needing housing is likely to increase over the next few days. Please email your details through if you can help.
I know you’re all reblogging out of kindness but the call centre is being flooded with offers for help and those with actual animal emergencies are unable to get through. There have been so many emails for help that the inbox has crashed - please be patient as the RSPCA works to contact those who can help. Thank you to everyone who is opening their homes and hearts to the shelter animals who have nowhere to go.
